29x22x20mm

This cluster of Andradite cluster is a lighter brown, with epidote crystals generously sprinkled across the matrix.

-----

Andradite garnet is a species of garnet which comes in three varities: melanite (brown-black), demantoid (green), Mali garnet (greenish-yellow), Rainbow Garnet (iridescent) and topazolite (yellow-green).

Today, we have the menlanite type, aka Titanian Andradite

Andradite is actually a less common form of Garnet. In the last few weeks, we've brought in and sold the Demantoid variety, which is the most historical and one of the more rare versions. Today, we have this unusual dark-brown melanite version.
