Uvarovite is one of the rarest member of the garnet family.

They are usually found as druzy on matrix, with prices increasing if each crystal is 1mm or greater in size.

Because of its vibrant green colour, it is often confused with Emerald.

It was first reported about in 1832, and named after a the famoed Russian statesman, Count Sergery S. Uvarov.

Energetically, Uvarovite is associated with transformation, abundance, and manifestation of the desires of the heart.
