Thunder Bay Amethyst comes straight from the stormy, wind-swept rough landscape of Thunder Bay, Canada.

An absolutely gorgeous type of amethyst famous for the goethite and red hematoid inclusions that can vary from a "pepper sprinkle" to deep reddish brown layering.

This unique amethyst is highly prized by people seeing a fresh start, a renewal of energies and leaving behind negativity.

Now, you can technically go to Thunder Bay and mine for your own amethysts. However, ours come from a mine that is not open to the public and is famous for the ultra-deep color of some of the specimens that emerge from there - The Moonlight Mine.
