About this Specimen:

2.6 x 1.6 cm
5.7g

—————

I love the botryoidal bubbling emerging through the little bit of malachite on this piece. In fact, that’s actually why I got it - precisely because of its unique crystal structure.

Shattuckite is an uncommon copper mineral that is widely collected, despite its price, because of its vivid blue colour. Whilst it was originally discovered in the Shattuck Mine in Arizona, the finest Shattuckite pieces actually come from Namibia – in the Kaokoveld District and the Mesopotamia Copper Valley. The pieces from the Mesopotamia Copper Valley (including these) are unique in that they form in botryoidal growths.

For every $15 spent, we will plant 1 tree to offset the carbon cost of mining, shipping and packaging crystals.

These are real and natural products, and so might have some flaws or imperfections. We have done our best to pick the best pieces available, but nature is often imperfectly perfect. Therefore, please only make the purchase if you are alright with this.
