Spirit Quartz is a Quartz crystal, or group of Quartz crystals, with a naturally formed Druzy Quartz layer on the outer surface which formed with the Quartz crystal.
This piece, in particular, comprises of a clear quartz point, upon which grew a thick layer of druzy, pale lilac Amethyst. On one side, the Amethyst has a light iron coating.
Spirit Quartz is often enhanced with a vapor film deposit surface coating to give it an iridescent look, but this piece is clean! :)
