This is a special find. it doesn't have any special name because, like many other calcites, it's one of hundreds being dug out from the earth - it's impossible to name all of them!

These specimens are special because of various features:

1) The clear quartz that forms of the basis of these specimens are so clear and lustrous!

2) Each clear quartz point is covered in secondary-crystallised micro-crystalline quartz.

3) Each specimen is covered with red calcite shells, shaped a bit like lingzhi calcite (yes, lingzhi, the mushroom) and they are UV-reactive, especially in a darken room!
