According to the Gem Society, Andradite garnet is one of the most sought after garnet species. Whilst our specimen is not gem quality, I absolutely adore the well-formed crystals as well as the lighter colour sections with a beautiful stepped formation.
This specimen, weighing at 64 grams, is like the previous one except it is also generously studded with Magnetite and has some Epidote on it too!
